Amazon Music is all about fans. During the summer of 2023 the streaming platform reached out to KAMP to craft a festival experience that breaks through the clutter and delights audiences at select 2023 music festivals. Showing up on the ground at Stagecoach and Outside Lands, we created LIVE moments that gave fans unprecedented access to the music and artists they love.

We turned heads at Outside Lands with a reflective exterior and custom mural by Bay Area artist Chaz Bear. Fans passed through a colorful astera-lit hallway leading into a memorable, music-filled experience that took over the 3-day festival.

Fans got a chance to rub shoulders with their favorite artists during meet & greets and interview sessions with Bars & Nuggets host Bimma Williams.

Stagecoach attendees enjoyed the official festival livestream in our striking, technicolor build. Interactive touchpoints throughout the space kept fans engaged with perks and upgrades to enhance their festival experience.

IGNITING FANDOM AT YOUR FAVORITE FESTIVALS

Netflix’s “The Harder the Fall” is a Black American Western whose characters are loosely based on real stories of cowboys, lawmen and outlaws of the 19th-century American West. To create excitement for this new title we built an immersive living version of the film’s fictional town of Redwood City, in the heart of NYC’s Meatpacking District. We partnered with real Black cowboys and Black-owned businesses to authenticate the experience, providing moments of education and stoppable era-inspired products in celebration of the Black American West.

A curation of NYC creators extended the show’s narrative with special moments throughout our Redwood City build. Key Moments: Two pop-up marketplace tents with products from Sincerely Tommy and The Brooklyn Circus, C.A. Boseman Train Car Museum with Tintype photobooth, chain stitching customization by We Tight Knit, Cowboy Camp hosted by cowboys PURA and roper Wefts Tyrus, a performance area with stories by Trae Venerable, and on-site beverages by Brooklyn Tea served out of Stagecoach Mary’s Saloon.

Kamp was approached to create the visual identity for the 25th annual Webby Awards. For the first online-only awards show, we leaned into the hyper-digital aspect of connection where RGB palettes and glitched imagery were moshed together to celebrate the best of the internet.

We created a toolkit for the Webby’s + partners to use as a framework while building out all assets for the award show. Our intentionally crafted design DNA provided a guideline to deliver a unified message and aesthetic across all platforms and communications.
