FOREST BAILEY GALLERY

For the month of July, Kamp Gallery welcomed Portland artist Forest Bailey to present his newest collection: Turned On.

In this body of work, Forest Bailey excavates themes both childlike and primal. Continuing the natural progression of previous explorations and style, the focus of this work becomes hyper attuned to color, subject and emotion.

This self-taught multidisciplinary artist found his way to painting and design through his career as a professional snowboarder. In addition to a prolific practice as a painter, he also puts out an annual line of streetwear, outerwear and snowboard designs.

Music for the night was provided by Inversion Table. The show is available for private viewing by appointment through August 2023.
