KAMP A.B.C: ASSEMBLY OF VERY MANY PERSONS

In 2022, photographer Guarionex Rodriguez Jr. was invited to document Sustain Release, an electronic music festival at Camp Kennybrook in Upstate New York. During the late nights of the festival he captured the hazy ephemeral scenes of dancers and strobing lights creating a visual language that mimics the electric and textural memories of those in attendance. In contrast to the nightlife photos, Rodriguez set up a portrait studio on the grounds during the day with open invitation for anyone who would like to be photographed.

In this poster book titled Assembly of Very Many Persons, these two photo series are placed onto 8 doubled sided foldout posters creating a holistic view of what this festival means to its participants. This limited print run is available now on the KAMP shop and at select retailers.
